How many registered practitioners do we have?
If your firm does not keep track, we can help you figure this out. The USPTO publishes a list of all registered practitioners and we can help you cross-check this list against your employees.
Can paralegals and assistants get access as well?
Yes, your entire law firm has access! Everyone with an email address of your firm will have access. This includes paralegals and assistants. Your other attorneys who work with patents (e.g., litigators and IP transactions) will have access as well.
What if our number of registered practitioners changes?
For subscriptions with more than 5 practitioners, we review when your subscription renews and adjust prices accordingly. For subscriptions with 1-5 practitioners, we increase your subscription when you add practitioners.
Are there any minimums?
We have a $100/month minimum for monthly subscriptions and a $400/year minimum for annual subscriptions.
Can we get a law-firm susbcription for only some members of our firm?
Sorry, but no. The law firm subscription prices are based on the total number of registered practitioners (attorneys and agents) at your firm. Every registered practitioner counts regardless of whether they actually do patent preparation or prosecution.
But only some of our registered practitioners do patent work?
Yes, and the same goes for nearly all of our customers. Our law firm subscription prices already take into account the fact that some of your registered practitioners won't use our tools. That is why the subscription prices are so low.
Our firm falls at the low end of one of your ranges. Can we get a discount?
Sorry, but no. We believe we provide great value for our products and our prices are not negotiable. We do have discounts for subscriptions with multiple products and also for annual payments, as described above, but there are no other discounts available.
